Terms of Service
Last updated 18 September 2026
These terms cover your use of KadiChap. By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of your company.
1. Your account
You need an account to use KadiChap. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for what people you invite to your organization do with the access you give them.
You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country, and you must give us accurate contact details.
2. What you can use it for
Send invitations to people who expect to hear from you. Do not use KadiChap to send unsolicited marketing, to impersonate anyone, or to upload content you do not have the right to use.
We may suspend an account that is sending messages to people who did not ask for them, because doing so puts every other customer's message delivery at risk.
3. Payment
Monthly plans are billed in advance for each period. The Single Event plan is charged once, covers one event, and does not renew.
We charge for the Service only. Messages are sent through the messaging provider you connect under your own sender name, and you pay that provider directly under your agreement with them. We do not resell messaging and do not take a margin on it.
You can cancel a monthly plan at any time. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not refund the period you have already paid for.
4. Data Processing Addendum
This clause governs guest personal data and forms part of these terms.
For the personal data of your guests, names, phone numbers, email addresses, RSVP responses and attendance records, you are the data controller and KadiChap is the data processor. You decide what data is collected and why; we process it only to provide the service.
We will:
- process guest data only on your documented instructions, which includes your use of the product;
- keep guest data confidential and limit access to staff who need it to run or support the service;
- apply appropriate technical and organizational security measures, including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, tenant isolation and audit logging;
- not sell guest data, and not use it to train models or for our own marketing;
- assist you in responding to a guest who asks for their data to be corrected or deleted;
- notify you without undue delay if we become aware of a breach.
We use sub-processors, hosting, messaging and payment providers, to deliver the service. We remain responsible for their handling of your data.
5. Deleting data
You can delete an event, a guest, or your whole account at any time. Deleting a guest removes their record, their invitation card and their RSVP.
When you cancel, your data stays available for 30 days so you can export it. After that it is deleted from our live systems, and from backups within a further 90 days.
Records we are required to keep for tax or accounting, invoices and payment records, are retained for as long as the law requires, regardless of deletion.
6. Availability
We work to keep KadiChap available and publish live status at /status. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for losses caused by an outage, by a messaging provider failing to deliver, or by a payment provider being unavailable.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell you by email at least 30 days beforehand.
